A beautiful antique book, illustrated with 28 full page illustrations of religious nature. The illustrations by Battista Antonio Ferracina, are very much in the style of Gustave Dore, who of course was not yet born when this book was printed. The illustrations of heaven and hell are extremely vivid and still very much relevant. The book has 315 pages with at the end a hand written “Act of contrition” by one of the previous owners. The book is in very good condition for its age: the cover is intact and the binding is tight.Book measures 4″ x 2 1/2″ and 1″ thick.
